Member Services
Our super member services team is made up of qualified financial planners, account managers and para-planning staff.

Account Managers (Member Services Consultants) are our superannuation guru's that travel around the state to provide our members with the most up to date information on what is happening in the industry. Depending on the needs of the members they may present to a large group or provide tailored one-on-one general advice. You can speak to your Account Manager over the phone or arrange for an appointment to meet in person.

Financial Planners are all experts in their field and have spent many years providing ethical and tailored advice. Our planners are paid a salary, not a commission so members know that they are only working in their best interests.

This team is supported by our paraplanning and administration staff who work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure our members have a positive experience and reach their retirement goals.

Together the member services team ensures that you are getting the most out of your superannuation. Performing “Super health Checks” to help you get on track for retirement, and maximising your retirement benefits they are committed to providing our members with top quality advice.

Account Administration
Our Admin All Stars are the backbone of Western Financial. They are on the front line answering our members’ queries whether it be opening the mail, to responding to emails and faxes, processing documentation and contributions. They make the company tick!

Our Account Administration staff handle a wide variety of jobs which includes data processing (for example reconciliations, contributions and changes in details) but they are also our front line customer service representatives and look after a portfolio of employer groups and their employees.

The Office Administration team manages our incoming and outgoing correspondence. Using state of the art technology they make sure our members communications and forms are scanned and electronically allocated to the right staff member for processing.

The team pride themselves on providing quality customer service to ensure they are exceeding our members and employers expectations.

Finance consists of a small team of professional accountants and accounting support staff. Crunching the big numbers, this team looks after all aspects of the group’s finances including investments, Fund and Corporate accounting, taxation, finance, business operations, payroll and technology functions.

Compliance and Risk
The group is a dedicated team of compliance and risk professionals that ensure we are adhering to legislative requirements and have appropriate risk management systems in place to provide our members with a Fund in which they feel confident in placing their retirement savings and in seeking financial advice. The team works across all areas of the business.

This team requires people who have an eye for detail, like investigating, have good comprehensive skills, can see the big picture and develop solutions to everyday problems. People within this team must be able to communicate to a diverse group of people at varing levels.

Human Resources and Business Projects
Our human resources team support our people to ensure that we not only achieve our business strategy but allow our people to grow and further their careers . In conjunction with our management team we attract and develop our people to ensure they have access to the benefits and resources that they need to excel.

The human resources team provide hands on advice and support to the people and management of Western Financial. We ensure that our people are given every opportunity to reach their full potential.

This team also includes project staff who assist our management team in streamlining quality management (processes and procedures), aligning technologies to business requirements and making the most out of all our resources. We encourage innovation and actively support our people in finding better ways of doing things.
